Create and use macros to speed up your workflow on the desktop, helping you to take the hassle out of repetitive tasks. Keymacro allows you to record a series of keystrokes, then re-use them in any program and on any computer. Keymacro allows you to save a Macro in three formats: C-Programming, Batch File and VBS Script. C-programming Macros are better suited to writing small scripts that work in one or a few programs. Batch files are more suitable for programming in the Win32 environment. VBS scripts allow you to run macros from any Windows application. Keymacro also offers you to program the sequence of keystrokes to be performed as well as a keymapping file. Create and use your own Macros: Keymacro allows you to create a Macro and save it as a Batch File or VBS Script. A Batch file is a Windows file that executes a set of commands. You can re-use these commands in any Windows application or in a C or C++ program. A VBS script is a Windows script file which executes a set of commands. You can re-use these commands in any Windows application or in a C or C++ program. Your Macro can be triggered by keystrokes and is capable of modifying the Windows clipboard. You can enable or disable the macro from a single application or from all applications. A Keymacro profile is stored in the application or in the Windows registry. A profile can contain several keymacro scripts that can be stored either individually or in groups. A profile can be loaded in any application or in the Windows registry. If you open a file from the application that contains a profile, then that profile will be loaded. The macros stored in the Windows registry are activated when you open the application, create a new profile or switch to an existing profile. The Windows registry offers a more convenient interface to create and load a profile. Each profile can be named using the standard Windows registry syntax: Name, Value, Type, Section, Class, Sub-Class, List and ListValue. The Name, Value and Type of each keymacro are localizable. Macro syntax: A macro is a series of Keystrokes that can be triggered by a keystroke. Each macro contains a name, a description and the Keystrokes that can be executed. For example: Macro name: Send a message to my favourite person Description
